Staff Expectations at WeHaKee Camp for Girls
Camp staff guides girls, ages 7-17, to challenge themselves and to make good choices all while having great fun and making new friends. It will be a challenging, and at times exhausting, job that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Each summer, our camp staff are empowered to help each girl realize her uniqueness as an individual person, while understanding and striving to reach her own potential.

You do? You Could Be A Counselor at WeHaKee!
What to Expect as a Counselor at WeHaKee Camp for Girls
Counselors are responsible for the direct care of up to 8 campers each session. They will work with a co-counselor to provide a safe and fun cabin experience including teaching songs, playing games, planning events, and creating memorable experiences for our campers.
All counselors will provide leadership in several program activity areas. Program activity instruction includes creating lessons, designing activities, and teaching skills.
Salary
In addition to meals and housing, WeHaKee Camp for Girls staff members receive a base salary. Additional pay is provided based on each individual’s experience, training, skills, and certifications.
Training
A ten-day training is provided for our staff before campers arrive. Training includes safety, child development, program planning and teaching, and community building.
You will become a part of a close knit team who will live, work, play, and pray together while creating memories of a lifetime for yourself and our girls.
