For over a century, WeHaKee has helped girls grow into confident, compassionate leaders — but those stories don’t stop when childhood ends. Many of our campers have grown up, started families, and moved into the next chapter of life.
But the memories they carry — the laughter on the dock, the late-night campfire talks, the feeling of being truly seen — are still with them.
Family Camp at WeHaKee is a chance to step back into that feeling. Not to relive the past — but to share what mattered most with the people you love now. Whether you’re returning with kids of your own or gathering with siblings, cousins, or lifelong friends, WeHaKee opens the doors to connection in a way few places can.
What Is Family Camp at WeHaKee?
Family Camp is a 5-day summer retreat designed to bring people together in a peaceful, joy-filled environment. Set on the shores of Hunter Lake in the Wisconsin Northwoods, it’s a rare invitation to disconnect from distractions and reconnect with the people who matter most.
You’ll stay in comfortable cabins, share meals together, and fill your days with meaningful moments — whether you’re paddling across the lake, making art, laughing at dinner, or simply sitting around the fire under the stars.
There’s no pressure to perform, no competition for attention, no need to plan every second. The structure is flexible, but the purpose is clear: real presence, real connection, and real time together.
Activities for Every Age and Energy Level
Whether you’re the adventurous type or more into slow mornings and sunshine, Family Camp gives you room to create your own rhythm. You’ll have access to nearly all of WeHaKee’s classic offerings — guided by experienced staff and open to every member of your family, from toddlers to grandparents.
