Pack Camp in Your School Backpack!

We’re back after taking a couple of weeks to relax and relocate back to our administrative offices.   We’re settled in now and ready to continue preparations for Summer 2012 ~ only 287 days to go!!

With many students heading back to school today for the first day of classes, we thought we would reflect on all of the learning within all of the fun that takes place at WeHaKee and how it can influence our campers upon their return to the classroom.   Whether they knew it or not, while at camp they learned how to choose good friends and build solid relationships, they learned how to step beyond themselves and explore new activities and skills, and they learned how to be contributing community members.   It is our sincere hope that these enhanced skills will allow them to not only continue to grow at school, but to be strong, positive role models for their peers.
