The full-time team of Bob, Maggie, and Thatch works hard every year to find amazing staff members. They look for people that our campers can relate to and look up to. A mix of personalities, experiences, and backgrounds is important because that’s the make-up of our camper groups as well.

Danielle, Horseback Riding Director
My name is Danielle, but everyone calls me Dani. I am from Johannesburg, South Africa 
and I will be the Horse Back Riding Director this summer 
This will be my 3rd summer at camp. I was a counselor in 2017 and 2018. I absolutely LOVED my time at camp. Camp is one of my favourite places in this world and I can’t wait to be back this year!
I was very involved in the horse program during my years as a counselor and I’ve ridden and owned horses for over 13 years. So, I can’t wait to be leading the horse program this year! I am also so excited to work along side some of you in the horse program and spend the summer with some very special ponies and campers!

Hi everyone! My name is Mary, and this will be my first year as a counselor (& my first year in general) at Camp WeHaKee. I am so excited to get to know you all!
I am a freshman at UW-Madison, and I’m planning on majoring in biology and Spanish. Outside of school I love to journal, play the piano, go on walks and runs with friends, and watch Saturday Night Live and the Bachelor with my mom and sisters!

Hello everyone! my name is Jimena and I’m from Mexico City. This will be my first time as a counselor!. I’m so excited to meet you all, and be part the WeHakee Family, but the most exciting part is the idea of having a great summer with you, and with the campers.
I enjoy playing tennis, going to music festivals/concerts, wakeboarding, reading, and right now I found out that I like extreme sports.

Hey!! My name is Betsy and this will be my second summer at camp! I am so excited to see all my old friends and make new ones! I am finishing school this semester with a degree in sociology. I am originally from Memphis Tennessee, but am moving to Mobile Alabama after the summer. My goals this summer are to learn how to waterski and ride a horse!

My name is Sofia and I’m from Mexico City. This will be my 6th summer at camp (my 2nd as a counselor) and I’m so excited to go back this year as we were not able to last summer!!
I love hanging out with my friends and family, as well as meeting new people. At camp, I really enjoy being on the lake, especially sailing, stand up paddling or waterskiing. I also LOVE food so you might see me in cooking!
