Friday’s with Franky: Session 3 Showcase

Hi friends! Can you believe it’s Session 3, the last session of Summer 2017, here at Camp WeHaKee? Boy time sure flies when you’re having fun! 

This session was full of so many unique experiences such as an out of this world concert performed by Keegan and Derrick. The WeHaKee girls hooted and howled enough to rival my doggy friends! Keegan and Derrick sure know how to rock out. I’m sure I will have their songs stuck in my head for days.

We had gorgeous warm and sunny weather here for most of the session! This was wonderful because it allowed us to enjoy a beautiful day trip canoeing down the Namekogon River. We also had a fun overnight canoe trip down the Flambeau River.

Just like the end of every session, the last day of Session 3 was the showcase. What a memorable day! Everyone worked so hard over the course of the session and it was fantastic to see the end results. I loved to watch the performances put on by the dancers, tennis players, horseback riders, and artists. We really have some talent here at WeHaKee Camp for Girls.

Although it is the end of the summer, it doesn’t mean it’s the “end”! From years past, I know that the girls will still stay in touch and that they can’t wait until they can come back again next year and give their good friend Franky a welcome back belly scratch!
